We come to worship and to give

We come to worship and to give
to God, our thankful hearts.
We give our worship and our lives –
ourselves with all our parts!

We come to worship and to give
to others in their need;
To make the world a better place,
to counter lust and greed.

We come to worship and to give
as Christ once gave to us.
To love each other as he did,
to bear each other’s cross.

At Christmastime we celebrate,
our hearts and voices lift
in praise of God who gives to us –
his love, the perfect gift!
