Jesus my Master,
Jesus my Saviour:
Always there with me
companion and friend.
I would be always
sensing your presence,
knowing your friendship,
joy without end.
Jesus, the gospels
tell of your story:
teacher and healer,
companion and friend.
Those who first knew you
spoke of your goodness,
told words of wisdom,
light without end.
Jesus, we see God
in you, and through you:
God truly with us,
companion and friend.
Holy, yet with us,
sacred, yet servant,
showing God’s nature -
love without end.
